First things first, this is a very fragile listing that I will try my absolute best to represent and make as smoothly as possible for all parties involved.

October 28th will mark two years since the Cruiser Community lost a loving husband, father and grandfather Terry Lane Mud Member @AZOKIE.

Shay, Terrys wife has "Rhino" in Sahuarita, Arizona and it is being listed for sale today. The first group that will see the listing is the ih8mud community. I am assisting with coordinating folks to schedule appointments to view the Cruiser or answer any specific questions I can help with.

As you can see in my profile I do not reside in the state of Arizona. I'm only here to list the Cruiser, consolidate photos, and put down the facts of what I can observe. I have sold and shipped many Cruisers sight unseen so I will try to paint the most honest picture of this one possible. With back and forth phone calls Shay has provided me with photos and videos of "Rhino". Furthermore I have done some digging around Mud to find pics of Rhino at Solid Axle Summit over the years. @drenmaster I can't thank you enough for going down to Sahuarita and assisting Shay with going over the Cruiser.

Terry was an excellent person and I understand the need to sell. I know the family would like to see it go to a person that will love it and create many more memories with "Rhino". This 40 being Factory Soft Top makes it a little rare so I hope it finds a owner that appreciates that.

If this was still Capri Blue I would wire the money today. GLWS!

Couldn't agree more @POTATO LAUNCHER we all want to see this Cruiser in the hands of someone whom will drive it and make memories.

@CarcaineProblems I would say that this could probably be a great patina preservation with what paint is underneath.

Great deal. Will go quick. GLWS!

Just stopping by to say that when Karen and I went to our very first Solid Axle Summit in 2021 we were a bit overwhelmed, and Terry was the first person who came over and greeted us. He and Shay made us feel welcomed and at home in that crazy camp ground full of activity. We briefly chatted and went our separate ways, with brief hellos exchanged the rest of that week and at subsequent SAS events. You’d be hard pressed to find nicer folks.

I always admired Terry’s 40. It seemed well sorted, though I never inspected it. It had great patina but was solid. His truck embodies what Land Cruisers are about for me: stout old trucks owned by cool people. Real working rigs that were built & modified with two hands, and were neither perfect nor babied. Knowing that Terry took care of it, and that Shay has given her blessing to have Joe help her find a new home for it … that’s all I need to know.

This is a special truck that comes with boatloads of good Cruiser karma for free. I have no doubt Joe will be ace at facilitating a transaction too.

Condolences to all that were friends with Terry. This 40 is a great foundation for someone who wants to get into a well setup rig for some trails and exploration. Hope it goes to a good home.

Works for me when I click on it - both on my computer and my phone. Still having trouble?

I have a lot of memories with this truck and Terry.

I hope it goes to a great home that will continue on it's legacy.

It's probably the only 40 that can say it successfully towed a megacruiser down Imogene pass.

Best of luck with sale!

That reminds me that this 40 was driven to and from SAS at least 5 times. That's 1300 miles each year not including the amount of trail miles each year. This is a good driver 40 for anyone wanting a Cruiser that is well established.
