Tony, Any chance we can order some extras at the event? or now? I would love an XL. If ya got to put an order in, might as well wait till after to put it in so maybe people would like a spare, or extras once they have a oops I forgot I had my cool shirt on before I starting fixing the stuff I broke on the way in. lol

Cruzilla.. I will be riding in on Friday eve, I will be looking for ya Sat. I got no truck, be on foot. Or Bicycle. Fuel prices are a killer.

Anyone else. If your going out to get Ice on Friday, and may be comming down Cadilac on Friday after dark. you may see a van. and a guy on a bicycle. That may be me. If I can find a rig I can ride near so I am not alone, and maybe put my backpack in I would apreciate it. If Not I may just sleep in the van and ride in in the AM.

Also my host is bringing in me some sleeping gear, and maybe some food. lol. If I look hungry try to feed me!

Anyway cant wait to see everyone again. been awhile since I been on the Con. I got the chance, I need to be there. even without my truck. after all its not always about the ride, but the people!

Paul,
As always your are always welcome in the RS camp! I will actually have an extra tent with me and if you go away hungry from our circle you have issues dude! ;) Always on the look out for one of "those guys!"

BTW....got this pic from Gary Cobberly-Wagner earlier today when he pulled into Lake Tahoe! I thought it was summer?

I know where that is! The only Island in Lake Tahoe. I guess that means I got to pack the Long Johns.

BTW It is 105 here in Vegas. Did the snow kill the mosquitoes? How long does it take for one to hatch, and then eat me?

I have a tent and bag set up so far. Backpack doubles as a pillow! I know we are all like Family, I have no fear of going hungry.

The :princess: and I are staying at Robbs Resort Wed. night and on the 9:00 run thurs. AM:beer::beer: Got the 40 loaded to the gills and we are stoked:bounce:

We should be rollin' in Wednsday afternoon ourselves leavin' on the early morning straight thru. Good to hear we won't be the only ones there, just hope we find it okay... GPS hasn't lied yet but...

Pick a name, any name Gary is going?

Sweet snow....can't wait for the change. It has been hot and dry here.

thanks Mark and Kent... but a small miracle by our shirt guy and we should have enough shirts for everyone, including a few extras.

Anyone dropping in Wed between 10 and 11 AM with room for a box of shirts?? Looks like two trips for the first time ever.

Tony, I registered early but would be more than happy to wait a couple of extra weeks for my XL if that would help. Heck, how many months did it take for the last hoodie!;) I know you're 'good' for it.

Best

Mark A.

Some think woody's cute, but he does nothing for me:rolleyes:

damn....NOW ya tell me.....

Yeah, but how many escorts do we need? Looks like 10 FJ's and three of those are Trail Teams. Looks like I'll about have my own personal escort? :p

Hope he's cute! ;)

pretty sure I'll be walkin with ya a lot....

all packed and ready to roll....I mean, drive up.....Team is gatherin in Placerville Tues nite...can't wait!!

I'm "camped out" at the "Mother Lode Inn" in Placerville, waiting for Inchworm to finish up some work on my FJC then heading up on Wed morning. The weather looks to be great with a full moon ready for us on Wed night. We are pretty excited for this adventure, can't wait to meet up with everyone...

Check with Chartdog, I think he's wed at 10. I'm leaving to meet Reff in pollock in a few hours.

The goat is going in around 7:00pm Wednesday and the Pardi crew around 6pm.

Pullin' out right now. No matter how light I want to pack, it never works out. I think I need heavies;) See ya'all there:bounce:

AC Died on the way in

Crossing Wyoming yesterday my AC started squeeling and then died. The Clutch siezed. On the way here, we called Toyota Dealers, Checkers, pepe boys and couldn't get anything till Thursday, but we will be on the con.

Most likely the clutch has failed and replacing that would fix it.

Cdan in another post provided part numbers for the hole shebamg, but I talked to a few who just replaced the clutch with ggod success and that requires no recharge but does require a special tool

https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/47669-ac-clutch-question.html

If anyone coming in later can fanagle a Clutch for me (Checker might be able to do it) I will repay you when you get to Rubicon springs. Just the clutch.

Thanks

My cell is 303-439-9936, call me if you find something

Ken

I just called my local Toyota dealer and they said they could have it tomorrow for me and it is $240 but I know the manager and can get 20% so it should be around $200+tax.

Clutch, 88410-26110

Let me know and I can call back so he can order it before 3:30. I will have to pay over the phone when I call back to order it. I can try your phone later. We don't have checkers but I can try Napa or Kragen. I am coming in on the Thurs. run to Buck Island.

Local dealership sez the closest one (A/C clutch) is in Washington state...

Napa sez you gotta buy the compressor too...closest one is in Texas....

Carquest on Broadway, in Sac, will have one at 0900 today. 114 bucks....

Cell # no work....I'm leaving Sac 1400ish. Should I pick up the A/C clutch? Or are we going to have half a dozen show up at the same time?

OK, about now is when the issues and errors begin to surface. I am 20 shirts short, so there are about 15 folks who will receive their shirts about two weeks after the event. Ya, I bummed too.

So if you registered after 5/30, and you wanted L or XL, please be patient.

Dont worry about me Tony....I will get mine (XL) whenever.

Tony, if you can get the shirts to Roundeyes I can bring them in.
