thought i would update with a few pics .
I finally got my OEM wheels and new tires on
i also picked up some hub caps ,only issue is I'm not sure which ones to use see pic.

bump small update over the years i have been messing around with my front bib and lights and grill emblems
and this is where i am at today .

first pic how it was ,all 1978 with the added early bib and lower lights and fiberglass stamped bezel

..

then changed color of bezel and added early grill emblem

and finally how it sits today .changed to early turn signals on the fenders and removed headlight rock guards also have new tires and am running oem wheels and hub caps ,i am finding it hard to get used to the look of the early turn signals oh well

and for the fun of it a quick pic of my rig beside my buds BJ42

Your right the tin can turn signals do seem a bit off? I thinks it's their small size that's throwing it?

You need something a tad larger... Maybe the rectangle ambers (you can also get clear oem lenses for them) ....or ..... maybe even 70 series turn signals... That would look great IMHO

Small bump, not much new other than gave the old rig a good going over and a tune up. Drove her 2200 miles from Canada to Pismo beach and back

took the old girl for drive a few weekends ago. Dont get her out much anymore ,she sits in storage for 10-12 months of the year these days.
