Boots and Dirtgypsy came over on Sat. and gave me a much needed hand getting this project back on course. I can't thank them enough!

I didnt like how I previously had done the shock towers or the crossover bar so it got changed to this:

The Orbital and brake cylinder are a bit tight but workable:

I couldnt help myself at that point so I dug out some sheet metal just too see what it looked like again.

Overall I'm much happier with the spring set up this time. I ended up with 6 inches of up travel which will probably settle out to about 5 inches. That puts the bottom on chassis at 27" which is fine considering I'm running 42s.

I still have a lot to do but it sure is getting closer.

That looks badass

That looks purdy

i have been pacing myself reading this whole thread from start to finish spreading it over the past 3 days. i cant even describe how awesome your truck is. keep up the good work!

Clint, you left it on the tube bender.

My buddy Mike (boots) came by again today and helped me with some more stuff. Some of the pictures arent really exciting or anything but as Mike mentioned its a good way to document the work should I never need to go back and remember what I did.

Today was about adding the gaskets, adding washers/loctite, adding fluids, and bolting everything under the belly for the last time. I had everything in there temporarily earlier just so I could mock stuff up. Anyway we started by tearing down my drivetrain.

From there we "poured in performance".

Yea I know. I think I somehow managed to pop both front birfs or axles but I am thinking birfs by the amount of gear lube that came pouring out of the knuckle, but I REALLY HATE doing knuckle jobs. I guess Ill tear it apart this week and see what happened. :bang:
I really gotta stop breaking stuff... I have no idea how i hurt the front either, I was crawling it when that happened

and yea I heard about you and your wanting to trade the 76 to scott... you need a wheeler man.

Ya I wish he would a done it too cause I want 5 spd
