I did this trail in my stock montero a few years ago, i had to turn around near the top but there's a forest road that bypasses the last few miles of the crown king trail

The normal route is you come up forest road 711 and turn right onto the 192. If you turn left onto the 192, the 192 will take you to forest road 362, then a sharp right willl take you to senator highway. this alternate route skips the spot where you need rock sliders.
