We love our 200. Have done Cruise Moab twice now. It's a fine truck. I'm so amazed that we can pile six of us plus a weeks worth of gear and a bicycle in this thing, drive it for 10 hours at highway speeds, unload the gear, throw off the Yaki box, air down to 16 psi and ride the slick rock like we own it!

Life is good!

Alfred. It was nice to see you last month.

I used to air down to 18 psi and when I moved from the 80 to a 100 I started slashing tires, went through 3 in 5 years. May not seem like a lot but i didnt slash any in 7 years of wheeling the 80 much harder. Last year I was wheeling with Cdan in my new to me 200 and low and behold I slashed a tire. The wise old shawman pondered it and we decided the 100 and even more so the 200 are heavier vehicles and I should try airing down to 22. At 18, the tire was "pooching" out a lot more than it needed to. Plus running 18's on both the 100 and 200 there was less to "pooch" then the 16's on my 80 making them more vulnerable. I have been doing that for a year and no slashed tires plus the tires gripped everything they need to

I'm following your thought process, Ken. Thanks for the tip. I'll try a bit more air on my next outing.

22 has been my lower target too, as I run pretty heavy (in addition to an already heavy 200!).
I've gone as low as 18 with my KO2's, but only in sand without anything jaggy...

We're traveling to Golden, CO soon. Time to give @sleeoffroad some more of our money.

Headed to Slee Off Road, for a new rear bumper.

Sweet! I scraped, banged and buffed mine quite a few times...but a little rattle can, and she's no worse for the wear. Not even a HINT of a bend on any whack, bang or crash. :hillbilly:

My mashed up running boards are in the dumpster. Got some sweet Slee sliders on there now.

My spare is sorta grubby.

Thanks @sleeoffroad for taking care of our truck.

They got the rear bumper installed; works great, looks great. They got the step sliders installed; very stout, and functional. Also got us a new set of front brake rotors and pads, which are a huge improvement. That brake thing was a last minute deal, and Slee's guys got it handled on short notice.

All the guys at Slee are really nice, and helpful. Our mechanic was very accommodating. Amory was helpful and professional. Slee is adding on to his shop. I'm sure the expanded building and extra square footage will be great.

While in Denver, we stayed at a Comfort Inn, where things were very nice. We rented a car from Enterprise on Kipling. Nice folks there, very helpful. We spent Monday at the Denver Zoo, and Tuesday at IKEA and at Park Meadows Mall. Next time down to Denver, I'd like to see that Railroad Museum in Golden.

We left Slee's shop at around 4:00 pm Tuesday. Got home at around 11:00. A short trip, but nice.

Spent a bit more time studying this rear bumper. Really nice. The best out there, in my opinion.

Looks great! What kind of brakes did you put on?

I don't know. I'll have to look it up. Australian spec heat-treated. They have some grooves in them. They're very smooth and nice. I'll post up more later when I know more. He told me the name and I forgot it.
