Ive got one of those costco electric dish heater thing I can bring to dinner tomorrow night, if you want to consume electrons.

I'm going to try to make it Saturday. Depends on how my neck patient is doing.

Steve, I think we're good on heat. Thanks.

I've got this crazy notion we can do the beginning 33% and the last 33% with the rig in the garage with the door closed and will only need to be cold for cherry picker use.

I think you'll need to make that trip in @jfz80 s van.

Any time. Keys are in the cupholder. Remember drivers door is welded shut for anti theft measures; well that and the striker ripped out of the b pillar. But its always good fun watching people stare at you getting in the rear passen.... er 'french' doors

There's something that would make Brent's day.

Be well, Jamie. Thanks.

Beat me too it, but was thinking the same thing. Pretty sure hed be quite cool with teaching them about the various stages of rocket propulsion.

As the weekend approaches the weather situation is becoming more uncertain. Some models are showing wintry precipitation Friday night and into Saturday.

The overall message is this .... if you would like to come then please do, but not if it involves unnecessary risks. The motor is going in regardless of the weather and the pulled BBQ will be ready for all.

Whatever you decide, be safe.

I really want to make this trip. The rebuild looks gorgeous with the red, blue, and black.

Are you kidding? I'm looking forward to wintry precipitation! I've got a new locker to do donuts with in front of your house :hillbilly: :steer:

There goes the neighborhood :grinpimp:

Too late

And I currently have the front driveshaft out so will join you.

Remember, we do have the "Duke's of Hazard" gravel road practice grounds not a half mile away. :D

BTW, Your diff install looks awesome!

Due to weather I won't be making the trip....Look forward to seeing lots of pics!

Makes sense. Thanks Jeff. Hope to see you at another function soon.

would like to help but I have to get to calabash and help out my parents

The early predictions are starting to come in.

Glad this isn't a motor going in the 240Z. Datsun folks don't come out when it snows. :D

We are looking at a couple inches where I am, if you believe the weather man. I'll top off the rear axle on the 80 just in case. I could lock the locker in 2WD in the FJC and do donuts :)

^^What happened?

Looks like the birthday party is going to be moved . . .

Hey, so maybe this snow event is a good thing!

Nothing is wrong with the engine. Jason is poking fun at my OCD because I made sure to line up the gold stripes on the fan belts but the part numbers are backwards.

The SAE on the hose was just a bonus :)

Cant wait. That motor is looking really good man.... will look even better in its new home.

i was going to offer to try to yank my fan clutch off my white 80, because you didnt have a pretty/new one.

Oh yes, mine is very ugly .... definitely needs new and shiny. :D:D:D

If you happen to have new shiny transmission and TC that would be cool too.
