Latest progress report.
First issue ... I was forced to use the head that had 4 stripped exhaust threads (I had long ago sold the head from engine 2.
)
I was relieved to find the stripped studs only went 0.450" into the head but there are 0.900" of thread available. I could find no longer studs so had to make them.

Bundle up. Forecast is cold. Have at least one gun heater secured.
As long as there isn't snow I'll be there with a second heater. I will stumble around with a thumb up my rear end getting in the way as long as I don't have to drive in snow for 2 hours to do it....
I kinda forgot my daughter's birthday is Saturday the 7th
I have to take her and 5 friends ice skating or something - - do you mind if I show up with 6, 13/14 year old's? I'm sure their parents wouldn't mind me taking them 45 mins away , etc LOL
