Alternator on. Exhaust manifolds, intake halves, and a few sensors and will be about ready for next week.

Thanks, but it says these are for a 4.5L and mine is a 4.6L. :flipoff2:

Latest progress report.

First issue ... I was forced to use the head that had 4 stripped exhaust threads (I had long ago sold the head from engine 2. :bang:)

I was relieved to find the stripped studs only went 0.450" into the head but there are 0.900" of thread available. I could find no longer studs so had to make them.

So that's pretty much it. Plan is to use the intake and throttle body off the old motor which Jason and I will start pulling Friday afternoon (special note of thanks to @jfz80 )

As long as there isn't snow I'll be there with a second heater. I will stumble around with a thumb up my rear end getting in the way as long as I don't have to drive in snow for 2 hours to do it....
 
Ive got one of those costco electric dish heater thing I can bring to dinner tomorrow night, if you want to consume electrons.

I'm going to try to make it Saturday. Depends on how my neck patient is doing.
 
I kinda forgot my daughter's birthday is Saturday the 7th :(

I have to take her and 5 friends ice skating or something - - do you mind if I show up with 6, 13/14 year old's? I'm sure their parents wouldn't mind me taking them 45 mins away , etc LOL
