I also gave it another try today and just yanked harder. Got it out and nothing broke!

Heck, thats the way to raiser it!

Either way works.

I pulled up on the flip-up cover. Couldn't get a good grasp on anything else.

Thanks. Got it out and the printed one dry fit. Anyone use silicone to adhere it in place? Want to be sure center console can still come out of there is an issue down the road rather than VHB taping to the bottom.

VHB isn't permanent, it is just very high bond. I used it on my replacement cup holder and have removed it a couple of times (replacing the tape each time).

Will the smaller of the holes (single flask option) hold a standard 12/16oz paper coffee cup securely? Really want the Nalgene but need to retain the coffee cup capability.

I have this one which retains the lid and the ability to close it. While I have to use a little pressure to safely seat the 32oz Yeti tumblers I couldn't be happier with it.

Thanks for the pic. If you’re referring to the tumbler that has a narrow base under 3” and it fits tight, it won’t work with my 20oz yeti bottle chugs or sport shaker bottles. Those have 3 3/8” width. I would prefer to have. The lid close but I use my cup holders daily, so I don’t mind losing the lid

Yes, the base of the Yeti 32oz tumbler is 2 13/16" and the opening on this particular BH3D model is 2 15/16". 3"+ base bottles and tumblers wouldn't work.

I know you picked the cup holder lid version because it looks better then the full replacement non-lid version and I would absolutely agree. I wish they could offer a nicer black finish, maybe something that matches the texture of the center console.

Installed the BH3D Dual Flask within a week of vehicle ownership. FWIW, I can’t imagine going back to the lousy stock cup holder.
Just ordered!

Is this a pretty straight forward install? Any recommendations? Thanks

The hardest part is pulling out the old cup holder. It will feel like you’re going to break it, but as others have said on here, you have to really apply some force on the pull.

I do remember it took a minute or two to properly seat the BH3D holder. I can’t remember the angle, but once I found it, the holder slid right in. Definitely use the 3M tape. It makes the unit more stable and secure.

Thank you for the tips. Funny thing is, I’m kinda hoping it arrives before my truck 😂 My first mod!
