I trimmed a lot of little pieces of Gorilla tape to fully cover the bottom of the cup holder and the interior ledges as well. It’s a tight fit and it required some decent pressure to seat it once aligned, but it hasn’t moved since, great product.

I take it you’re referring to the double sided gorilla tape?

Ok based on this discussion I purchased a “lid close” 2016+ Insert. My 32oz rambler and my 18oz tumbler will NOT fit. Yes it looks like it will. They won’t. The rambler fits in almost an inch and the tumbler won’t start. I’m very disappointed.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see anything on the BH3D 200 Series product listings that mention compatibility with Yeti. All the listings I've seen mention Hyrdoflasks and Nalgene bottles. Those obviously have different diameters. I have no experience with these, just pointing out that it never listed Yeti compatibility. That's why I was always a little hesitant on these.

There is nothing on their website stating any compatibility with Yeti. I was hesitant too…. Someone said the rambler would fit, it didn’t. Unfortunately, those two things (and a 36oz tumbler) is all I use.

anyone interested in buying a new never used lid close BH3D cup holder insert?

It works in mine. I am guessing there are tolerance variances with the 3D printing, the casting isn't exactly smooth.
