I found a 2006 with 154K incl night vision and tow package. Seats, body, interior, maintanance records back to ownership, all books, etc, and in general exceptionally nice condition. I'm looking at $23.5K and while I've seen a few closer to $20K with similar miles but not as nice condition-wise, I'm thinking paying a premium (IF that is a premium?) for what appears to be an exceptional example may be worth it.
However...The PO had sealed the undercarriage with rubberized sealant since it was a Northern car. I don't know when that was done so I will have a PPI that will include an in-depth inspection for rust. What is the best way to test for rust damage if it's lurking under the sealant? I'd assume a hammer and punch but looking for any advice on that score. Thanks!
