That's just wrong.

Thanks for the heads up!
So no midway exit. Once you're in you're committed........

sorry @baldilocks for the thread hijack!

Another update. PG&E has started draining the lake in preparation of the repair work. River flows have sky rocketed, they say it will stay like this till end of July. Not sure when you guys are coming, but crossing at 450cfm is super dangerous. If you don't want to take your chances against the river crossings, you could always start at Meadow Lake and wheel until a little bit past WH3 then turn back around.

This is at 400cfm:

Looks like I did my solo run just in time 😁. We won’t be back there until the Sierra trek event. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the heads up and info once again!
We plan to hit the Rubicon Monday 7/19 and looking at Fordyce Wednesday evening or Thursday (21st/22nd) morning.

I changed the oil just before going to CA last month and ran her 80mph there and back. Dip stick still full. 307k miles on the clock. I’m impressed.

The new headlights showed up yesterday. They came from a USA warehouse quite quickly. I don’t usually get all excited about proper packaging but these are packaged very well.

NICE, I like the new look.
The bumper modification was inspired by a desired to expand its functional qualities. It’s sitting on my welding table still waiting to be finished. This I hope to accomplish before another week goes by.

Intermission over temporarily. Family members from far off want to make a run into the forest tomorrow.

Fabrication is done and will install “temporarily”. 177 pounds there on the floor. I could use some help but will manage it alone. #ilikepatina

If I was closer, I be happy to give you a hand!!
Have fun in the Forest

PSA: Whenever you need to lift heavy and awkward objects like your bumper, always use your lower back and use snatching and twisting motions as you swing upward for best leverage.
Truck looks great, have fun unplugging in the forest.
