Or is there a good diy hack for the non-purists looking for function but not perfection? Regarding body mounts for the sill

This thread had me curious, I had to find my receipt from earlier this year for having rear quarters, sill and left rear wheel well top replaced. Also had a few holes on the right rear wheel well patched. I paid my body and fender guy $1700, I bought the materials (CCOT). Sounds like I got a good deal.

I did my own. First time trying to be neat welding for me. Had to do a lot of grinding but it
turned out good. I couldn't see bringing it to a body shop. Not why I bought it.

Look up awl teq on here he makes a killer rear sill for a very reasonable price

Up here in Canada that looks pretty clean ! I'd sand blast it and weld in some patches and spray cold galvanizing spray bomb.
How about somemore pics for the critics ? It's a big job and I'm thinking in 5 years you could tackle it if you don't do any preventive measures of rust protection !

Here is a thread I just made with a "HOW TO" do it step by step. If any of you decide to tackle it yourself, I hope this helps.
