Love it, you guys work fast!

-Chris

Haha- I get that a lot. It’s just me over here. CFO, head fabricator, and janitor :)

Perfect; stick it on with hot glue and camo duct tape and I'm in for sure.:flush:

Heck yeah! Once I get the mounting sorted I’ll do them in a nice matte black.

Mounting worked out. Next step will be to build the final mold for vacuum forming. I’ll keep you updated.

Nice solution for the mounting.

Put me down for a set! I have already found the little black plastic caps to finish off the Allen head screws. Where do I send my check?

Thank you for taking the lead on this!

Any concerns about getting a USB port on it?

-Chris

No, as long as it fits physically, which I think it will. I have one on order and will report back. I’m not sure how in depth I’ll go on the USB hookup- it depends on how many want it. I may just offer the option of the hole and let you guys take it from there. The USBs alone are like $25 each.

I’ll have a price for you guys in a week or so with any luck. I need to see what kind of time is really involved in making a set, finishing the edges, etc. It won’t be the usual $19 plastic part stamped out by the thousands, that I know.

I’m pretty busy with regular workload, but I’ll keep it on the burner as much as I can.

In for a pair as well. Will the plastic be in different colors to match seats? I have the brown seats.

If you know where to get thermo-moldable plastic that matches the saddle color, let me know! Otherwise, your choices are black, black, and black.

Built a vacuum former that seems to work quite nicely. You guys better order a lot of these....

I'm going to take my set over to Ms. Sue who does the upholstery on Gas Monkey Garage and see if she can cover them in a similar leather color to the brown leather. She does amazing work and is only about 2 miles from my house.
