Rear Plastic Fender Flare Delete (1 Viewer)

Finally decided to ditch the rear plastic fender flares. Before:

Unfortunately, at some point in its past life someone did a pretty aggressive cut on the OEM rear fenders.

I decided to go with the patch panels made by Real Steel:

Unfortunately, welding isn't a skill that I possess. So I had to farm it out:

Dude its looking good! I saw a 40 when I was out in taos NM and it had the fenders cut slightly. I am now wonering if it at one time had those aftermarket fender flairs too.

The paint shop recommended removal of the hardtop for blending the paint. First time the top has been off since I assembled it 2 years ago.
