Fender to Cowel Measurement FJ40 (1 Viewer)

Hello friends,

I’m working on fitting some aftermarket front fenders (unknown brand) and they’re lining up pretty well. The problem is there were no holes drilled for mounting whatsoever. I’m reaching out to see if someone could give me a measurement on how far out the fender should be from the cowel body. If I run a straight edge along the fender and measure the drivers side I’m about 6-1/4” but the passenger is closer to 7”. I’ll try and show what I’m talking about in photos. It’s a 74.

Did both fenders measure the same width at where you are measuring?

Awesome, thank you @miller for doing that. Looks like I’ll be scooting the passenger side inward.
