Dudley - very nice - Like that bench seat - what year did you get it out of!

Don't know for sure, Think the year is 89, 90, 91 around there.

Suzuki Sidekick/Samurai seat fits perfectly, it also folds up when your not using it.

Expensive option for rear bench seat

Check out...

www.littleseats.com/

They do custom third row seating for SUVs but have an option for a 4-door Heap Wrangler. I spoke with them about a seat for a BJ42 and they said they could easily do it with a few measurements. This is THE safest option for kids in the back of a cruiser in my opinion--I'm in the business of healthy kids.

Pretty expensive though.

Good luck.

PS-This is my first post on mud. I feel like such a poser but this is the first thread I thought I could actually contribute to.

:flipoff2:me for being a newbie!

Has anyone considered the rear seats out of Honda Element?

I am thinking of adapting some. They flatten out and then fold to the side of the rig when not in use. The fold all the way back to allow adults to sleep, and they sit up to allow adults or kid seats to fit in back securely.

Renoron....yours sounds like a con-ferr seat:

left pic is a pic of con-ferr rear bench seat....with storage under...pic is from marksoffroad.com

the right pic is a early bronco rear bench seat

I'll try to post some pics in the next few days.
It kinda looks like the con-ferr.
No tool box below and side pads are on tube steel.
Mounting points are similar though...

Those are sweet my friend!

Hmmm...how wide is the middle row, 3 passenger seat, on most minivans? I know that most small cars can fit three adults in the back seat, and I'm guessing that they would be in the 50" to 52" range...question is how wide is a car seat...sorry, but it's been a while since we've had some in the car.

Edit...I did a quick search, and found this CAR SEAT SAFETY - Radian 80 at MyPreciousKid.com

If you scrole down a third of the way you will see picture where they have three seats on a 51" SUV seat.

Hope this helps :)
