Correction the hole is after the cats and right before the connection that goes to the muffler. I am thinking I need to fix the hole for everything to be cleared.
Glad those scans are helping folks!

Thank youGlad those scans are helping folks!
Thanks for posting those three pages. I printed them out and was able to get my codes. 25 and 26. Now the hunt begins!I hope these help - from my '88 FSM:
I had this issue and cleaning the EGR valve helped a lot I do rarely get it still during certain driving scenarios but it goes away. The EGR systems in these trucks are getting very old. It might be worth going through the checklist to verify function of each of the EGR related components.Maybe awaken an old thread here… got a check engine light driving home a new to me 88 FJ62. It appeared 5 miles after I threw in 10 gallons of 92 non ethanol. Previous owner had been consistently running 87 ethanol.
I did the above procedure w/ a jumper wire at the firewall diagnostic terminal and got a code “71”. Thoughts? Likely related to the octane change? Thanks!
