what's up with your rear wing/deflector?
what did it come from?

It was from a 100 series Land Cruiser. Brackets/mounts were broken on it so I filled in the cutout for the 3rd brake light and made some stainless brackets to attach it to the top to just clean up the rear’s appearance.

Bought this '92 PU with about 240K miles, about 10 years ago for $5600. Put the Tacoma wheels on it a couple years ago. It now has a badly slipping clutch and the 22re feels weak (PO said he had some head work done). Right now it sits unused - I just bought a '98 JDM Hilux - so I am going to have the clutch fixed, the cam timing/valve settings looked at and then give it to my kids as a backup vehicle.

Got a new project, 1988 3.0. Already converted it to 3.4 Wow this thing runs good. Best running 3.4 swap I have had :)

Damn, that's a clean install.

Glad I came to my senses...hahaha. the 1uz sounds so nice. But a ls does to 😀
it seems an ls is easier as far as programming and support.
i looked into this option along side sc for the 3.4.
unfortunately neither happened and now my runner is lonely in Louisiana 😭

This weekend I took the tall canopy off my '98 Hilux.

Today I drove it into town for a dental appt.

On my way home I hit a decent straight stretch of road and happily noticed that, as expected, the aerodynamics were much better at highway speeds.

I am definitely going to put together some kind of fairing over the cab in order to smooth out the aerodynamics and decrease the wind resistance.
