How do you like this one compared to your last 3 linked 80?

Ahem...

Forgot an I there, buddy.

Well now I have to make it attach to something without looking anymore hack then coupler nuts welded to random metal :D

What don't you weld a bolt or stud to the outer plate, and then a small bracket to the inner. Run said bold thru hole in bracket and finish with a nut.

Like the INTI feet... Looking for and old pic.

The 3 link is better this time around because every single item on my front is brand new. Alignment and caster are perfect, etc. The old one reused 230k steering components and the panhard. This one has a better roll axis but is 2" taller. This one has coilovers , the other was slee 4" coils and a spacer (when I owned it).

I'm switching to 300/300 coils up front. It's currently 200/400 with the single rate collar kicking in in an inch, essentially the top coil doesn't even exist currently.

A little late but a nice idea :flipoff2: Coupler nuts are expensive too

You realize that by going to 300/300 you're losing the benefit of the dual rate? ( I'm sure you do). Why would you want to drop to a single rate setup vs running something like 300/350? I'm running 275/400 and definitely need to bump up the tender as it's pretty much worthless.

Have you seen the one at Booger shop? Monster
I haven't. This one belongs to my brothers... Free access for me! 9' capacity, 70 tons and CNC should be enough for my needs... Maybe.

That's not eliminating the dual rate. That's ~150# until the collar kicks in making it 300. The two springs rates being the same have nothing to do with each other on a dual rate setup. It's affectively a big long spring made of two shorter springs that WERE 300# each before being joined on the shock body.

That's it I'm making a press brake. Nice work
Do the SWAG off-road mod to a 20ton harbor freight press. Thats what I used to make all the 80 bumpers @ binks fab until someone offered to do it free for us with a setup like ardentoya pictured

Your stuck with a max width of about 18", but it's super affordable and very handy

Is Binks still doing stuff for regular customers? I REALLY wanted a rear bumper and sliders from him earlier this year when I was shopping. Ended up going with Slee for both.

Right, I knew that. Major brain fart there. Anyway, I'm enjoying your projects!
