I am not sure if it makes any difference structurally speaking, but it appears that your clamps (bice fab skills) will only clamp onto the outer most portion of the gutter due to the angle that the tower clamps together versus the tower being more straight up and down so that the main gutter itself is the portion being pinched. If this makes sense!!
