Starting to get a few things going for the Bonneville build. Thanks to Ryan Apple at Valley Hybrids we are mocking up the front axle. Shaving the top of the housing since were not running a 3rd. It will give us more clearance between the oil pan and axle. More Exciting upgrades are in the future

This is exciting news. I received an email yesterday from the
Sr. Manager, Product Planning & Technical Services
Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. they are Officially on board and will continue to support the 7319 and our trip to Bonneville. They have made some suggestions concerning the tires we use and working with Bradley Wheels it looks like we are on track. I have also spoken with the World of Speed Tech Director and we have been given the green light on some of the modifications I will be making on the 45.

Yes I am on the hunt for one of these. I have some ideas for our next adventure in the 45. Any leads on a intake would be very helpful Thanks

Spent today making a list. I've got a lot modifications to get finished in the next 2 months. One of the things I wanted to do was get rid of the mechanical fan and remove one of the two alternators. The fan I got from my buddy Bob @brooksfj60 has been in the shop for a while. Its going to be a slow process getting everything done.

If you are doing this for the land speed record, forget the fan all together. You will be going fast enough to not need it. Light weight is what you need! hahaha

What I want to know is where are you going to put the bottle for the nitrous shot! It will be like the Lord Humungis in the Road Warrior....you only need two passes right? :)

One bite at a time. Why are you changing the fan?
Less drag, getting rid of the mechanical fan will give us a little more power.

With the cooler weather it was a nice day under the shop LOL Starting to get everything broken down I found my good 3:73 for the rear axle. Finished getting the shocks, limiting straps and the 4:10 3rd pulled. The next few days more cleaning and prep.

Spent a bunch of time the last few days cleaning and prepping the front axle and rear 3rd. A wire wheel, elbow grease, a toilet brush, a gallon of simple green. The rear housing is ready for the install I am just waiting for some gears FC is welding up for me. Our new Bonneville front axle took lot more work to clean. After figuring out the toilet brush handle I used was perfect for threading into a FJ60 tie rod. It cleaned up the inside pretty nice. Next I whole sawed some plugs to weld into the ends of the axle tubes. More grinding on the top cover and now its finished. Its all the little things that take so long. Overall its coming along nicely I am on schedule. Thanks for the Support

Finished the new front housing yesterday. I am really happy with this and I should have the rest of the parts to put it together next week. The rear 3rd has a new pinion seal and is ready to be installed. FC Fabrication is welding up some gears for us and they should be here next week so I can get the rear axle back together. A lot of bouncing around on various stuff but its al coming together.

Is that a breather on top of the axle tube? What're you cooking up Rob?!
Hahaha it will be used to mount the front brake line fitting.

Productive weekend, I am going to be changing a few things with the exhaust. We will be running a header and re working the exhaust. Spent yesterday cleaning and painting. I was talking to my tire and exhaust shop I think we are going to install a exhaust cut out and pipe by passing the muffller. For two reasons better flow and I think it would sounds Awesome with a straight pipe LOL
