All,

I came across a 2000 Land Cruiser with 188k. One owner, clean maintenance record. Seller is asking $5,000.

The issue is Rust. See pictures attached/below. Looking for your advice and a purchase/no-purchase decision.

Looking for reccomended repair cost to frame, components, and body panels.

Appreciate the assistance.

run........tons of better rigs out there. This is nothing but a headache and will cost you way more than what you would save on the "cheap" price.

Hard pass...you can find a 3x better rig for 2x price.

One for sale on our local rising sun forum for $10K and is easily 3 times better.

Appreciate all the feedback. I think I'll stick with my clean 2013 200 Series. Was looking for a hunting/lawncare beater. I'll hold out

Yes, hold off. decent deals can be had. I looked at one last week for $4000 that was in much better condition. The chassis was very solid with very minimal corrosion. The interior was toast and the rear hatch had rust but that is replaceable.
