Done, letting FIPG set overnight and will fill with GL4 gear oil. Kept the patina, just new bearings, races and seals. Will pull drum next time around. Need to order the cable you guys did, my chain looks cool, but some of the links are trashed, almost split. Thanks everyone for the help!
I got one of my reinforcements done today. Will need to get some more steel next week to finish up the front side. I used 2x4 square tubing with a .25 inch wall.
The connector between the cable and chain is a 10 ton part that I found a Lowe’s.
Finished up the frontside gearbox support yesterday.

Thanks. Metal Inert Gas, or MIG for short. ER70S-6 weld material, so 78 ksi tensile strength. The loading is eccentric, so a single fillet should be sufficient. No sense in going through the math's since were just adding this supplemental to the original mounts. If this breaks before the shear pin, we've got bigger problems.
BTW @cruiserdan I was cleaning up the gasket surfaces on my PTO today. It had never been disassembled before and the "FIPG" was silver in color.

How old is that winch? most of them pre-date the usage of liquid sealer.
Late 60's early 70's? I don't have an exact date. The winch section in the FSM specifically states the use of liquid sealer on some components, but neither black nor orange FIPG existed then. I believe Threebond products were in use in Japan in the early 60's. They are probably the manufacturer of the FIPG products used today. I will be using "black" when re installing as I do not believe the orange (for high temps) is necessary here.
Interesting timeline. I started with Toyota in 1979 and the first exposure we had to liquid sealers came about around 1985. That was the year where engine oil pan gaskets went away and were replaced by FIPG.
Not really a timeline. You mention your first introduction to liquid sealers, was this as a Toyota mechanic or as a parts specialist? There are many things that Toyota uses and does in Japan or at the factory level that is not available or is not done/sold at the dealer. You have gotten me curious about this topic. I've reached out to Threebond for some historical info.

Maybe you have some info on the mysterious yellow grease that comes inside the PTO winch drums? The FSM says use multi purpose grease and pack the drum 3/4 full, but I have never seen any grease like the yellow stuff that was in it.

I'm working on the PTO winch from my 1996 HZJ75 Land Cruiser. I'm trying to disassemble the u-joints. On most units I have seen, the u-joint has a c-clip for disassembly. But I don't see a c-clip on mine. Are my u-joints serviceable? How do I disassemble them?
Based on how the cup is staked-in, I'd say not serviced.
Yup, not serviced. As you can see, no call-out for the joints. Only complete shafts.

Try dremel tool to grind away staked metal.
