The hand throttle is a such a cool feature! FWIW, there's supposed to be a little plastic guide snapped into the square hole in the pedal arm. I *think* it's 78449-90300. If you can't find one, let me know and I'll make a copy of mine and print you one out.

Photo from LostMarbles RHD BJ40, because I didn't want to crawl under the dash tonight...

Those are gone - if you are willing to print, that would be awesome! Feel free to DM me.

Yeah, looks to be discontinued. Would love one when you get around to it.

Pikachu has been tucked away since the roads have been covered in mag chloride and sand for months. The weather is finally starting to turn and I'm getting a few miles in.

I found a large 66" x 60" Con Ferr roof rack locally in Rising Sun. New coat of flat black paint and she's like new again. Just need to get the awning brackets modified and back on there.

I was able to preserve the old decals on there as well.

Sweet. Those racks are the perfect fit for land cruisers. I've got a big ol Con-Ferr for my FJ62 but it has no floor/mesh. Got it for telling a dude how to swap his leaf springs. How is your expanded metal attached in the front and back?

The p.o. used a bunch of heavy duty zip ties to secure it. It is surprisingly solid. I’m just gonna run it.

I actually scored a second identical rack for $50 with a rotten wood floor and I think I’ll probably restore that one with new paint and slats. It will go on my ‘76.

Here is what that other one looks like currently.

I kind of dig the slat idea…

I’ll throw it up eventually.
Mine is the 77” (?) long one.

77” is a beast! Very cool.

I’ll post up progress of this other rack with wood slat flooring on the White Bread ‘76 page in the next few weeks. I think it will have a really classic look with the wood. I’ll tag you in the post when I do.

Awesome, thanks

Were the wood slats stock on Con-Ferr racks? I've only seen the expanded metal floors. Looks great on any 40 series, especially yours!

Thanks!

I don’t know how they came stock. Great question. I’d assume a metal flooring of some sort.
