Sorry guys. My wife started a new chemo treatment last week and we won't be going anywhere for a while. Haven't been able to put much time into the wagon lately either. Things are kind of tough right now... but my wife does look HOT with her head shaved.

That is a bummer. Family is MUCH more important than any vehicle ever will be! Stay healthy for the wife's sake!

shinade o'connor hot?! that's hot alright.

yeah, it's a bad joke i know, just trying to make some light of a bad situation...........my sister is going thru the same thing right now. bone and lung cancer. :frown:
hand in there dude, just like you have been. your wife and the boys need you now more than ever. the wagon will be there when you're ready for it.

maybe a few of us 45 nerds can get together at snt and have a little toast to you guys.

ask me, we should have close to ten of "the gang" there. it'll be just like a family reunuion, only with "sand in your schlitz".

That's funny Georg, 'cause that's the first thing I said to her after I buzzed the rest of her hair off.....
"Baby, Sinead O'Connor aint got nothing on you"! :D

You guys enjoy yourselves. My wife and I will make it to an event as soon as we can.
Sorry about you sister Georg. We'll say a prayer for her.

You and your wife hang tough Gene. The chemo got my sisters hair also but she has such a positive outlook. She jokes about getting Dolly Parton wigs or Farrah Fawcett. Stay postive and keep smiling you will win in the long run. Good luck, Kelly.

Hey there Gene,

Hang in there man! you've had it rough for a while...

Your wife was super cool when she stopped by with your kids to check out the LV build. Sometimes bad things happen to the nicest people.

I hope that she feels better soon.

Hey guys, I know it's not much, but it's one more step towards driving. I installed the hood, gutted the inside and am prepping the door jambs, front seat frame, and dash for paint.

Gene,
Looking great!
Sure don't like to hear about family health issues! I hope all is well and think of you often. Keep focussed on the family and the rest will all be fine.

Mark came out to the house today and we did some cutting to the rear of both LV's. Still got some work to do before we weld anything in but it looks better already. Check out all the mud inside the walls of this LV.

Mark also brought out the banner that many of you signed at the 45 Run and SnT. Thank you to all. It will look good hanging in my garage.
