Rear bumper does look cool. I like the radiused outer corners. Rest of the 40 is looking great too.

Well.............I'm still having front driveshaft woes. Have another shop making the front driveline and they are now 3 weeks into with no estimated end date. Seems like I call and they keep sayin "It'll be done next week" ugghh.

I did run the tranny cooling lines and put in an in-line tranny temp sendor.

Sorry to hear about the driveshaft issues. I had my front shaft built by Fleet Pride. They usually do big rig stuff but I took them my old shaft with measurements flange to flange and I had a new shaft in three days. I hope there giving you a good price for all the delays! Think I paid $140.

Great job on this build! Wow I really like the rear bumper, a real work of art!! Time sure flies when working on a rig eh?
Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see some pics with the driveline all installed and you running it!!:steer:

Yeah man!!! That bumper rocks! You nailed it with that one.

What trans cooler is that.? Did you just bolt it up through the cargo bed?

Looks great!

Finally got the front driveshaft - $700 and I took it home and it's too short.....did I mention that I actually trailered the landcruiser to the driveline shop so they could take their own measurments?

A crossbrace was added to replace the one I cut out and the tranny cooler is bolted to that - it's a B&M with its own fan and I'm also running a frame rail heat sink cooler.

holy s***!!!!!! $700 seems way out of line....UNLESS it was for both front AND rear, provided they were the correct size. Sorry to herar about this,

You need to shop for another drive shaft source.

Last one I bought from scratch was around $250, with a CV and using some existing pieces.

It's pretty much all I have to choose from around here. I was told one of the local race teams pays $700 just for the stainless pillow bearing they use on their rigs. I'll just be glad when I have a front driveline that works

Shipped mine to Tom Woods for rework last time when I did SOA on the rear.

Long time ago, but I can't imagine that coming close to $700.

Good luck with them getting it right.
