Power steering bracket mounting bolts

Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me what bolts are used to mount the power steering pump bracket onto the block? While replacing my air pump I noticed one missing and was hoping to swing by my local fastener store to grab a replacement.

I’d guess 8x1.25 metric. Not sure on length. There’s a list on mud somewhere of all the bolts and lengths

If you do still really need this I can grab mine that are bagged in the garage (engine is all pulled apart). Its freaking 24 degrees here in CT but I can grab and get you photos with measurements on my calipers. LMK

The best way to match Toyota bolts is to remove another one off the truck of the same size and take it to the hardware store. My guess M10x1.25

From the diagram, looks like M10x1.25x25mm long, with captive flat washer and split washer.

Thanks guys!! That’s exactly what I needed, I searched high and low for the part diagram but had no luck finding the part number. It’s bolts 91112-51025 in the diagram. But the size, pitch, and length is really what I needed.

*Usually* the part number denotes the bolt size, as in the one above, a 10mm x 25 mm bolt, grade 5. Almost always a 1.25 JIS fine thread pitch

FWIW, those bolts are very tough to get at with all the other bits in the way so do yourself a favor and get the JIS bolt with the 14 mm head vs the common 15 mm DIN version.

The hardware part number codes are pretty interesting and useful once you get to know them, but a few still puzzle me. For example, 91651-40820 is a hex head bolt with a captive split washer and a captive flat washer that's not much larger in diameter than the split washer - 8mm diameter, 1.25 thread pitch, 20mm long under the head, and 4T strength. I believe it comes in at least two varieties - one with straight threads to the end of the bolt, another with a notched groove over the last five or six threads. But I'm not 100% sure they have different part numbers, and it probably doesn't really matter. Similarly, 91111-40616 is 4T, 6mm, 1.25, 16mm long, no captive washers; 91611-40616 is the same bolt but with only a captive split washer; 91621-40616 is the same bolt with only a captive flat washer; and 91661-40616 is the same bolt with a captive split washer and an oversized (larger diameter) captive flat washer. Later on Toyota stared using other part numbers for the same hardware, and I haven't figured anything out about those.

Still have it. Did some re-arranging of the barn. Sorting will be a handful at a time. E.g. while waiting for a weld to cool down, a coat of paint to dry, while I instruct the elves do some work, have the elves sort a handful each time they are at the Elf Barn.

The information is very interesting. I would like to know what is the name of the manual and if you can share all the pages with us. I recently bought a crashed 2018 Toyota Corolla in the US When I was fixing it, I mixed up the bolts and washers and would like to set them up correctly. I have access to part numbers and mechanical drawings, but I am missing this information.
