Bob62 posted the thread 4W Drive stuck on? in 60-Series Wagons.
Switched on the 4WD with no problem. Green light came on and system engaged nicely. A few days later I went to turn it off; unlocked the hubs; and released the green 4WD dash button. Button stays lit when button is out.. Is solenoid bad...

Ah, yes, there is a trailer harness. We'll check that. And, yes, the rear quarter panels and upper tailgate were replaced. (Which may be why the power tailgate lock doesn;t work now either.) I think the notion re the dash was that hopefully...

Bob62 replied to the thread FJ62 painted in Heath Gray.
Yes, I agree. We went back and forth over whether to keep the gray at the same level all around. Body shop was also pushing hard to paint the front hood white as well, but I didn't go for that. Was inspired by the 40 in the same colors I saw...

Fantastic outcome!!!! Love it!!!! I pleasantly surprised the Seattle cops even responded. My daughter suffered a home invasion out there at 3 am and it took them hours to show up. They also don't show up at all for adult sexual assault...

It used to be that, to replace the FJ62 power antenna shaft, you could buy from the dealer just the FJ60 manual shaft. I replaced mine several times that way (don't ask). The 60's were like $20 each as opposed to buying the entire FJ62 power...

The "stealer" suggested I replace the AFM. I did, but it turned out to be the TPS. Throttle Position Sensor. Fixed everything.
