In searching through your thread I'm not 100% clear on how you sorted a bracket for the compressor. Is it an OEM 3FE bracket? It is built into the motor mount?

It is an OEM bracket.
I got it from Deo.
I think through pure dumb luck I ended up w/ engine from an '88 (based on engine #) and bracket from an '88.

It is not a part of the engine mount, but bolts in there.

The used 10P15C Denso lines up perfectly.

This new one I got does not have the same clutch/pulley configuration.

Man, I have a bunch of used ones we can rebuild! I think the most expensive thing is the front bearing @ ~$20.
Do you know what model you have?

I think you can!

I also think you need to get the pre-load correct.

Since I shelled out for a new unit to fit an '88 62, I'd prefer not to dick around with it, void the warranty, get the pre-load wrong, etc...

Also, no idea if the clutch on the used one is any good.

I contacted CoolStream yesterday and he is getting another unit o/n to see if it matches what I am looking for. He thinks I got one that was put in the wrong box.

Since they are willing to check it out, I will hold off on swapping...
