The hole cut in the bed might have been for an aux. fuel tank. It is in similar location as to where mine is on my '66 45. Good find either way. I found mine in MT for $4500 in almost the same shape. Looking forward to the progress!

Found this bell housing in the bed along with a bunch of other goodies (more on that later). Any idea what it goes to? Tried pulling the adapter plate off, I see some hidden numbers underneath. Couldn't get it off first attempt. Maybe the bell housing I need?
