I slid into an aspen tree today trying to get over a very large block of ice that was obscured by snow: not awesome. Now I clearly can't be accused of being a mall cruiser owner. :-(
It was interesting that the crawl/MTS actually worked so well it "got me into trouble." I had no idea how much ice we had navigated because there was zero wheel slippage until I hit the tree and the ice was covered by about an inch of snow. We had to use my winch to anchor the truck as we backed down and used "power out" on the winch to keep me on the road. I was leading and the two guys behind me in 80s said there was no way they could make it up to me because it was so slick.
@mcgaskins , this was a good day to stay at home.
