Anyone have a simple design winch bumper with a light bar or some sort of loop to put the foglights on?

As gus2000tfs ask me... here my little write-up

For the each side I used a bumper from a Jeep (!!!) that I cut and then welded to a rectangular beam. Then, I welded 2 "L" beams on each side to install my winch.

To fix the bumper on the frame, I drill holes in the frame to install a 5/8 grade bolts (only one side because... I think... there were already holes ... it's been a long time ...!) and small bolts (M10) on top to prevent it from moving up and down.

For the roll, I use the same holes as those used by the winch with 2 "L" bracket.

Inside the frame, I have to install a spacer on each side then pass the bolts inside to prevent the frame to bend when bolts are tightened.

That it !

we have all those too these are desert except we have the localLY made PROTON cars and even better pedestrians (cheap foreign labour) crossing 3 lane freeways in the dark earing dark clothing hahaha.

Motor bikes (5Million registered under 250cc) on the highways at night with no rear or front lights in the pitch black

LOL, i see what you mean.... are you recommending i get a full out bull bar? Cuz we have lots of brain-dead drivers on motorcycles, cars and SUV's here also! I sorta like the look of the low bumper, retains some aspects of the original look, but i could go for a full out bull bar...

Heres a couple of ideas that come from pics ive saved over the years... Lemme know what you think and how i might be able to correctly place the lightforce lights i just bought!

Try not to cover too much of the front of the radiator with large lights it can reduce the flow into the radiator - thats why my RED truck has only small driving lights - especially if running front mount Intercooler.

Lights for me cannot go on the roof the jungle/bamboo just destroys them - for you maybe but they do affect your vision - need anti glare panel on bonnet.
Nor can I put them above the bonnet - same reasons and I want to see around the bonnet area for winching etc.

Resurrecting an old thread because it helped me while I was researching bumper ideas.

Here's my new bumper. It's made by Body Armor and was intended to be mounted on a newer Jeep Wrangler (JK). I fabricated new brackets and it bolted up almost as if it was meant for the 70.
