How's that SRAM rear derailleur hold up during a down hill race season? I've seen a couple literally explode after ingesting a tiny twig or two just during aggresive XC riding.

My short cage x9 on my DHR is the best derailleur I have ever had. That said, I think the derailleur system is garbage, no matter what you do with it.

Its way strong! I have bashed quite a few on rocks at high speed and the hold up.. I find only after awhile of abuse the mechanism will bend slightly which means it doesn't shift into your high gears... but other than that they have good warranty and they have a replacement program with them.
Shifting is really good with them..

My daily ride got ridden in this MB TV short

skip intro

Mercedes-Benz TV

my bike is famous:p

Picked up a Yeti 575 carbon race at the end of the season last year. The little bit I got to ride it has me pumped for this year as it is about infinity times better of a bike for me than my old Kokopelli that I spent two seasons on. Tried to take it out last weekend and got shut down due to snow and mud. Crappy ski season has me a little too anxious. Took it out for a cruise today....

Effective Top Tube length--sorry, newer nomenclature for bikes with sloping top tubes. This frame is pretty much a straight top tube, so, I was curious about the TT length, center to center.

Here's my bike. Giant NRS1 with a bunch of mods.

22 1/2" center to center

Bummer. Too short for me but thanks for checking. It would be cool to own a Yo Eddy.
