Possible oil leak (1 Viewer)

I have a 2013 Lx 570. I have oil changed by an independent mechanic. I have 156k miles. Oil changed every 6k. What is this oil leak called? Valve cover gasket? How many labor hours?

I don’t see an obvious leak. But yes under there is the valve cover.. also possible is the tech just spilled some oil when refilling and it’s running down around the flange.

I agree with @bloc that it's most likely spilled oil residue from an oil change, give the location directly below the fill port. Clean it up and monitor it.

Thank you. I cleaned up and will monitor. It was first time getting oil changed at a new shop. So I am hoping he spilled the motor oil.

am due for spark plugs so I can have valve cover replaced as well.
