Speaking about Euro stuff, you need one of these.. Toyota Landcruiser HJ60/61, SUN VISOR | Vepro ;)

Reminds me of the old Peterbilt visors.

Thanks, but I'm good.

So another down day... parts for the welder were supposed to be here this morning and as of lunch..... NOTHING!!!:mad::mad:

SO!... Poppy got to go to my buddies fab shop and we broke the lid for my customers trailer build. Loaded the lid up and headed home.

My other buddy called and had a few bags of goodies for me.

BIG OEM oil filter and NON-OEM Japanese filters with the same #. I have no idea what/who these are from. Probably just an aftermarket they received from some SALESMAN years ago... He gave them to me so I took 'em.. the two other items. Seal and new wing nut for Poppy's air cleaner.

Noticed a hot start issue and the carb fan isn't working, so a couple more items added tot he TO-DO list.

Looks great!

Cool! And I might go back to Euro mirrors, getting tired of the shaking of the aftermarket ones.
The one feature the euro Euro mirrors lack, is the individual mirror setting, so you just pop them out after dragging them through a tree.
I think I'll go back to Euro, still. Cooler and more convex.

Thanks, I have a guy in AU working on the seat covers as well. Hopefully I can get these for a reasonable price.

I will have 2 or 3 sets of used Euro mirrors for sale in a couple of weeks. I have a few sets and will be releasing some of them.

Pm me when you have them in! :)

J, the one picture there of Poppy with the drivers seat in, is that the foil backed jute you were talking about putting in before the carpet?

Can I jump in line for a used set of euros?

I'll let you know when I get ready.

Pm me when you have them in! :)

Pal, You want used or new?

Thermozite

are those the cruiser corp covers?

That upholstery company made these for me. I've had the CC ones before. These don't have as many pull through sections as the CC ones. IMO, the CC ones are probably better than these.

I do like the cruiser corps ones as well, but the brown was too dark compared to the early 84 brown. So it didn't fit my OCD eyeball enough when it was right next to the headrest.
Anxious to see what you end up getting from OZ!

Side note: Cruiser corps is not the place you want to have to return anything to, so make sure you are not going to have to return it before hand. You will pay a 20% restocking fee to recoup them for the free shipping you got and whatever labor that entailed, plus the trip back to them. Returning $480 covers cost me 160 bucks. Maybe i should have just accepted the darker shade...

All my vinyl is the same color now.

Yes, re-stocking is a hard one for most to swallow. But, all have to understand that the cruiser business is a delicacy in comparison to the McDonalds standard way of thinking out there. Mike (CruiserCorps) has a large catalog offering and while it may seem unfair, it keeps the gears turning. Especially if he has already re-ordered the sold item.

Re-stocking fees come to be for many reasons.... I can go on for awhile on this.

I get it and support the product and the shop! The seat covers were very high quality and I wish they were the right color. The guys there have answered calls and questions every time. No issues at all there... But restocking fees above the shipping paid by them- seems pretty excessive (in my case it was 42$ more) I mean at some point the cost should be shared. I'm out 160$ for 480$ covers to return them unused. I don't expect wal mart returns whatsoever and understand the costs of small niche business but Its hard to swallow those numbers. I'll order samples next time! Sorry for the rant..
