With the way parts are disappearing, that is not a bad habit.

90401....are those the plastic trim surrounds for the wiper shafts?

P,

For the wiper head cover or the cowl cap?

J

Both, my junk is missing the nut cover, and the cowl cap surrounding the base of the wiper is flopping around since the small tabs are long gone. Sad, really!

Stopped by Toyota today to pick up the 100 and peaked in on Poppy. All going back together this morning. BEST $511 bucks I've spent on labor in years....

A good deal on labor is always worth it to free up time for other pursuits be it making more money or time for fun.

Well, between finishing orders and the trailer, helping Andrea with landscaping and misc touch up painting, etc.. that $ is WELL SPENT!

Today is a complete bust to do anything productive in the shop, too many interruptions. Waiting on police dept for VIN check on trailer to send off to the state, metal delivery/return of old stock, last local Dr. appt etc... Some days just drain the life out of you.

Hang in there J. Gonna be worth it in the end!

I'm amazed they let you in the service bay. Seems like most places down here in Houston would say no to that. I remember I couldn't get a look at my windshield channel when a shop did my windshield replacement. That was irritating, but I needed the work done.

Been watching this thread. Like what I'm seeing!

A,

The service/parts manager is a good buddy. ALSO, THIS IS WYOMING!!!

Andrea and I are the only two LC owners they know of around here....

Pulled another box that I could easily get to (I see several TOYOTA boxes I can't get to yet  two for sure are 60 grills )... More wiper head covers, wiper base caps, 4 sets of door weatherstripping (non-chrome INNER and outer-- NOT FOR SALE, you don't have enough coin for these !!!) and 2 antenna assy. The date on these tags are from 2010 . I probably ordered these from @cruiserdan years ago...

I'm gonna stop watching this thread if the Toyota boxes keep appearing... I guess you have a complete 60 in zip locks, like Lego. Waiting for a day to be assembled!

A few updates...

  • TWO more sets of arch repair panels arrived from my suppliers B/O log. These are boxed and ready to ship.
  • I pulled the trigger on another 100 series today. This will be for my next project that might take awhile to finish.
  • Ordered a few sets of front door wind wing kits from Germany this morning.
  • Set of cable lockers might be headed this way with 4:56 gears. Waiting on final shipping numbers.
Poppy should be ready to pickup early this week. Then to finish off the hoses, belts and misc other items.
