Piggy needs to get back on the road this Sat.

I'm planning on trying to get the piggy to the Pool Tournament on Sat. Which means an all out assault on her. I'll be working starting at 9. If anyone would like to help I will get some beer and burgers.

List of things to do.

Replace oil pan gasket.
Replace coolant hoses.
Pop the top on the carb and get the fuel level a little higher
Install the gastank.
Change the rear third gear oil.
Adjust the brakes.


Anyone want to come help?

Guess it all depends how late my dad and I work on my piggy. We are replacing all the wheel cylinders on the front and getting it to stop correctly. Then maybe playing with the clutch a little to see if we can stop the slippage I've been having. After that if it isnt time for the event I'll come by.

hey marshall...if you haven't got the oilpan off the 55 yet, i would try and start now, ha ha.

i've got my 2F on a stand and with the cold weather i can't get the pan to budge at all. i've had a jack with 2x4 pushin on it for 1.5 days now and i ain't gone nowhere with it. about time for some mapp gas i think.

figured i'd let you know that it's a beast to get off if you hadn't got it off already...
