not too far off. safe travelsRained most of the driving today
and as we got a little higher in elevation the rain turned to wet sleet, right where we were to camp. Screw that and we got a room. It's fun being old and can get away with decisions like that. We're in Laramie and have all day tomorrow to get somewhere else.![]()
You are describing a control module issue now...So, we found out this morning the heater isn't working either.
don't know if I have the right tools, but my place is 2 minutes from Thursday's camp site if some repairs need to be done. You are describing a control module issue now...
I have everything being delivered tomorrow for your thermostat and bought some extra small cans of R134 but I don't think I can get a control module, like you said they changed the design.. I'll look when I get a chance and see what our options are..
God speed scraps.
All I know is broken bolts. The only thing I know about control modules was a girl friend from a long time ago.
I didn’t get very far today. After going over an 10,600 ft pass and an 11,300 ft pass I got stuck in Ouray site seeing and exploring. So now I have a 6 hr drive day tomorrow. Hope I don’t have any more 7% grades. 3 and 4 % are tolerable. 7% at 9,000 ft are slow going.
Hope your not paralyze scraps, or any one else for that matter
Did you bring your chainsaw? We're in Laramie and have all day tomorrow to get somewhere else.![]()
have to enjoy Ouray if you're there already. Directly north from Grand Junction up towards Rangely and then up through Flaming Gorge is beautiful and my preferred route home from Ouray - but no services for miles. Over towards Utah from GJ is pretty too and lots more services. - both have passes to go over.God speed scraps.

Flaming gorge is fantastic. If you see any deer crossing signs with googely eyes they were already on there when we passed through.have to enjoy Ouray if you're there already. I'm doing all this on my smart phone.
About 15 miles west of Grand Junction on I70 is the exit for Douglas Pass and Rangely. Honk as you pass through GJ. Available for breakfast or lunch if you have time. Ouray is about 90 mi from here. We’re about 5 minutes from I70.have to enjoy Ouray if you're there already.
