We’re on the road but sidelined in Walden CO just south of Laramie on the WY border. The Frankencruiser just quit right on Main St. Could have just as easily been in the middle of virtually nowhere. Cranks but won’t fire.
Guess I’ll start in the morning checking out the things I touched last, namely the new fuel pump and fuel filter. Replacement tank had been boiled out a while back but did have a little rust & scale. Washed it outa d hoped for the best. In our hurry to leave today I left a spare filter a d the old noisy pump on the bench. At least there’s a NAPA store right down the street.
Looks like I’ve joined the “COVID 55” crowd this week. All appendages crossed.

Have you checked for spark?
It’s either fuel or fire. I’m on it first thing in the morning. Also have a spare distributor module I left on the bench.
Y’all get here any way you can 
Went to diagnose this am while waiting for NAPA to open and it fired right up. Pump is working and it has spark. Drove in to the parts house and went for breakfast. Wouldn’t start afterwards. Bought a couple of filters and will change out the old one and see what happens.
We are heading out, see you all tomorrow!

Not solo this year. We are hoteling it in Torrington at the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites. Looks pretty empty and nobody is in the pool, yet.

Called it quits for the day in Newcastle WY just as heavy rains hit. Storm headed toward Custer so popping up the rooftop tent in a thunderstorm didn’t seem appealing after 300+ miles.
