Idaho sounds amazing but my rig is getting new power steering so she’ll be out of commission for a while.

Original idea was “Sometime between 8/15 thru mid September” and then “end of Aug”. Is that “starting end of Aug”?

We have plans for Colorado 16-22 Aug, and no, extending isn’t a good idea.

I’m easy, I just want to go camping.
I believe the weekend of 8/29 is what the rest of the group is shooting for and I’ll make that work if we can get one or two others to commit.

Committed. Flexible a week or so either way. Rather not fight traffic on Labor Day weekend though and need time for some maintenance on the Pig.

I'm going to act like I'm committed (to the trip) up until I can't make it. If everything works out well throughout August then we're out'a here.

I need help! Anybody know Pat (Dogfishlake) of Bowfin Cruisers fame? I need to buy and have shipped one of his roof racks for a 55 (in Megadoomer black) of course. Without his rack I'll have to tow the trailer, but not sure if the trail is suitable for it. We're redoing the entire camping system for this trip, because I don't have anything else to do. :) I reached out, but haven't heard back and it's been twenty minutes now, so what's up with that, right.

Anyway we're planning on going, because Jeri has the maps out already.....I need a rack and not like Aloha Jen's

Is this you saying you're in?
I believe that's four commitments now!!!
Shuold we start talking about official PP2020 shirts?

Well, yeah, if @bobm brings his wife for her birthday, I believe I’m committed. 😂 I enjoy fireworks as much as the next guy.

I’m gonna try real hard to make it anyway, but I’m gonna have to bail on the 60 axle upgrade with the lockers, and I probably don’t want to have to run tires from 2008 on the trail, so I’ll have to upgrade those.

Probably going to have some trouble at home if I do, find a bunch of camping gear, source a trailer, register it, get the dually registered again, etc, all with a missing week in the middle so I can get half-way (Golden), then turn around, go home, and turn around again to get to Boise.

There was an idea floated for 2020 PP shirts, based on that IS-themed rendering I had Adam do, but @PabloCruise would have to say if the timeline allows for it.

You wont need any of that unless you let us get you whiskyed up and talk you into taking your pig on my rock crawling course!

Remember, we have a 3 bedroom Pig. Ditch the trailer. Haul your sleeping bags and gear in your 55. We’ll roll out the awning, zip in the sides and floor, and you’re set. Don’t expect chocolates on your pillows.

Elk Mountain Road #285 look out and find a camping spot then wing it from there.

Hey J Mack,

What's the closet town to Elk Mountain Rd.? Would it be easier for us to meet up there or closer to your home? She's got the maps out. :)

You guys are welcome here and we'll all drive together to the trail, I have plenty of room to set up a camp ground for the first night of PP2020 if that's what you guys want to do.

McCall ID is reasonably close to the trail head or Elk City, ID is at the trail head
