I think it's a lot of money too, but I hope you get it or close to it, good luck

Me too. And seriously, I would totally take $40k if anyone wants something cheaper than his lol

Umm a built and clean 80 series is one thing, they fall into that borderline collectibility zone. A truck that you can find a dime a dozen of still owned by soccer moms is another.

Sorry to derail this thread, hope you get what you're asking. One of the all time best GX builds.

heres a GX with KDSS. they ship to the nearest Carmax for free I think.

Used 2005 Lexus Gx 470 in Costa Mesa, California | CarMax

Yeah, I was looking at that one the other day. Was shooting for one a little less than 100k mi.

In Colorado they will ship that here for free. If it's a 4wd it ships here free.

Well that's excellent news. I'm not up there yet, but in the process of looking for a switch to get up there when I can.

Less than 100k = major service likely not done. Make sure you get it with that done to save quite a few bills worth of maintenance!

Just got a 2007 non-KDSS with NAV.

164k miles with timing belt done around 85k. 2 previous owners. The second owner bought the car as a CPO from Lexus. as far as I can tell, truck only needs new CV boots and fluids. Bought it for 12.5k.

I'd say I'm pretty happy with my decision, however, if I had to do it again I would rather have a non-NAV version so that I can swap in an aftermarket headunit.

I've been running it on 87 with no noticeable knocking or pinging and a slight loss in power.

Yeah I'm aware and have been checking that. I found some private sales around 80k miles where the seller claims to have the services completed.

Once I land my job/relocation switch I'm going to be getting serious.
