I have a 2008 GX470, which is leaning to the left [no lift] and shows KDSS light from time to time. I would want to try to release the valves to see if it helps, but since it is Gen1 KDSS, the release valves are pointing up and are impossible to reach. However, I've seen references that releasing 14mm bolts on the stabilizer control assembly [left arrow on the diagram attached] is an alternative.

Can someone please confirm that I can unscrew 14mm bolts on the stabilizer control assembly [left arrow on the diagram attached] for 2 turns?

Thanks,

It's hidden under small skidplate. You have to remove the skidplate.

My 05 have the valve pointing down.
If KDSS light is on intermittently, it usually means the pressure are right at low threshold.

GX470 KDSS have two pressure sensor. It is possible only one is low and a rebalance might solve the issue. It's best to check the fault code. Need techstream or higher end scanner that can read that code. Generic OBD scanner would not read it.
