Did a search, didn't come up with much.

I'm curious what others have done for securing phones.

I'm partial to the Ram Mount holders. The 40 was easy, pick an empty hole in the dash and secure the ball with a T nut from the backside. My F350, somebody makes a handy rack that bolts down and you fasten the ball to that.

I haven't popped the bezel off around the radio to see what is behind, but I'm thinking about using the angled face underneath the rear heater switch.

Another less intrusive thought was to do something with the useless little cubby top right of the radio.

Personally I like my approach...

But Witt's End has what you are looking for as a drop in.

Oh, I like the Witts end option. That's perfect.

I have a ProClip phone holder. No shake or wobble. Used them on all my cars.

I did the motorcycle ball and adapters on the oh shyt handle and use Ram Mounts.

I'll post a pic later.

Might want to try Enfig. I have one of their mounts in my A3 stage II TDI.

Just put mine in the center console. charges it and keeps it nice and cool. connects to the stereo via android auto. Keeps the temptation at bay to play with it too.

Free sheet metal scrap and some old magnets off an older phone holder, some gorilla glue, and a rattle can. Works great!!!!

This holds my phone in a decent enough position and it is solid.

Forgive the dust....

With my newest phone (galaxy s22 ultra) it will activate the s pen if I let it stick to the magnets to hard. If I am gentle when I put it up the s pen does not activate.

Double sided tape to hold a small piece of sheet metal on the back of the phone cover.

I recently bought a magnetic wireless fast charge phone holder. I have it mounted to the glass in my work hack.
It's been really good.
I've had other magnetic holders, but not been entirely happy with the strength of the magnetic hold.
Only downsides to the one I have is it charges in pulses, and the electromagnetic field disrupts data and affects sound on a video chat or VOIP call

This is what I got. Semi hard wired in the charge lead.

Also, the adhesive tape on the magnetic ring that goes on the phone didn't like heat at all. I swapped to a C shaped ring that's supposed to reduce the interference to/from the magnetic field

Yup, same here. They're strong and well designed.
Just found out the Proclip dash mount for the 93-94 FZJ80 is no longer available :(
(I think no longer available for any 80 series LandCruiser)
Does anyone know a source who has any old stock on these?
Can be new or used.

Or … can anyone reverse engineer these? Can they be 3D printed?
I like the way these are custom fitted and do not require screws or glue to be securely mounted and the phone holder part can be changed as the users phone size may change from time to time.
Thanks

that blows, guess they weren't selling bunch of them. Mine is going on eight years now, I think. Hopefully eBay can help you out.
