@baldilocks Magnaflow! Downpipe (Y-pipe) has the first cat attached, and the second is a weld on, with a 2.5" outlet. I ran this setup, all 2.5" pipe, stainless muffler, and had a local shop here in Sacramento put it all together. I took my time and made sure the "executive order" numbers were correct, and even called my smog guy to double check and he said I did my homework well. Here's a link to them on their website. It wasn't a cheap mod, but it'll last a long time (hopefully another 20yrs!), and any added power we can squeeze from our rigs is crucial!

I ran the two on top, 103 and 217, and have zero complaints (other than price!). Here's the muffler I went with as well, also no complaints. I had Marco Muffler do the work and even they complimented my homework, and said that that was the easiest job they've had in a while, from the paperwork side, fit, ease of install, they were impressed!
Muffler is the 12866 model. I ordered it from Amazon and saved a couple bucks, not a lot though, but add the free shipping from prime and it was still $$$! Also, when the parts arrived, the muffler said 2.25", which isn't what the 12866 is in their catalog. Sure enough, it was 2.5" once I grabbed the tape measure.

Still looking for rear axle shafts as the ones in the classifieds either aren't locker equipped, or don't want to part out the differential. So if you see/hear of e-locker rear axle shafts, please let me know!

I have a long side rear with the long splines, I think, and will trade you for a short spline version. It's my spare and so not directly for sale. Let me know if that would help you.

You can also get new shafts from Nitro for reasonable $$.

I have no good axles on hand other than fronts. And, the long side is short splines, and vice versa, short side (passenger) has the long splines. Either way, is the one you have a stock, non destroyed and in good condition unit?

I think so. I can pull it out today and take a picture or 2. I came off of @beno 's truck so to my knowledge it's a working driving unit. It sounds like you will just need the side with the long splines. I'll make sure that's what it is. Right now it buried in my spares box.

Looked into Nitro axles some more... And here's their warranty info. So apparently the birfields are lifetime if "broken", but the rear shafts are only 5yrs and have to be "broken", twisted splines are not covered! In this industry, I'm surprised no one makes a true lifetime warranty chromoly axle. I feel let down...

That's a generous warranty. How long does Toyota warranty theirs?

Probably you should just get the nitros unless you find cheap OEM ones.

I'm still hesitant to run chromo's on the street and have the splines wear out, which isn't covered. I'm also curious as to how long they'd last on the street, with summer wheeling trips and a couple snow runs in the winter. I don't want to drop 500 bucks only to have them fail in a year or two.

Big thanks to @nukegoat for selling me his spare axle shafts! And that skidplate, I'll fluff that thing up nicely on the side and drag it all over the place! Stoked to start getting it back together this week. Even adding some sort of ode de axlé on the back of the housing as a reminder not to take the left line outta the bowl! Thanks again mang!

Wish I would have seen this earlier, I have a set of Poly Performance chromoly rear axles I would have sold for $200 (brand new they where like 500 bucks years ago).. That's if you still wanted to go the chromoly route..

Curious what dont you like about them?

Nothing really.. I have had like 50k trouble free miles on them.. Although I have run 35's forever now on my 80, I hardly ever wheel my rig..Just thought I can pony up some extra cash by slapping on my stockers and hooking up OP with these.

I might be hitting you up in a couple months if ya still got them. Haven't decided what brand I'm going to run either
