Thanks, its Bump It Off Road high clearance bumper. And, let me tell you I have towed a LOT with it and beat it to death in Moab. Super solid.
HA HA! thats a good one. I threw more than a stinkin shoe the last few days, that's for sure.Like I said, my driveway is a wreck right now.

Missed a few door dings, super bummed about it. Going to repaint a couple panels after HIH, fix the few dings I missed. Maybe just have the dent repair guys handle it. Anyway, trying not to beat myself up too much, as I was in a hurry.
Assembled all day, jumped in the TDI sat 6:30 PM and drove 300 miles round trip to pick up my grille and headlight laser cut steel. Just got home at 11:30 after the 5 hour drive. Wake up at 6:30 and wetsand the dirt out. Then, finish assembly, and start packing for HIH.

A well-done single stage spray looks SO nice! Love the color, too.. Once the work is put in to polish it out, the gloss is so much better than base/clear, IMHO.

Well done Kelly. Love the color. Looks so good on the Hundy. An incredible feat given the short time schedule. And we thought Engine-er was doing the impossible getting his rig ready for HIH after the fire! Living vicariously through you all - post lots of pics of HIH9!
Incredible Job Kelly! I just painted a 67' Mustang with base/clear. Took us 7 months as weekend warriors. You're crazy to have finished the whole process in a week

Trim is blue. Gray color: wheels, sliders, rack, center section of Ben’s bumper headlights and grille frame. Grille panel is gloss black.

Wet sanded with 2000 grit this morning. Half the car is sanded, not completely glass smooth, but very nice. Most all the dirt is sanding out. It’s the absolute perfect timing to sand, it’s going quickly. I polished a section of the quarter panel for your viewing pleasure. Notice, the awesome TDI VW in the reflection
