Hey fellas.......I didn't receive a notice of additional posts/questions. Sorry!

The roof (and rear windows) have molle panels made by www.custommollepanels.com. They are great to work with and can make panels out of almost anything......steel, aluminum, HDPE, etc.

The sun visors are Rosen. A secondary set is fixed for the windshield, the primary set can also pivot to cover the side.

Attached are a couple of photo updates.

Thanks for your interest in the build.

Thanks for the info. The GF posts stuff to IG....I don't really monitor social media....except to occasionally follow stories/photos of people who are traveling in places that I wish I was (currently) traveling.

Speaking of traveling.......here is a photo of the rig that I drove around the world 2006-2008......and a couple of photos of the (then) "newly built" Trans-Siberian Highway. I've heard that it's paved now......

Can you give us mo info on Ruffstuff axle and the crossmember above and the tubing welded in 🤔😉

Steering arm looks like it was built to be used with an 80 ton hydraulic cylinder
“If some is good more is better and too much is just about right.” Family motto that applies to guns, guitars, cars etc. and in this case apparently to steering arms.

Did i miss it ? I want all the info in that rear axle ?? I want to up grade for that pinion ,axle beakeen , c-clip ,lancruiser axle ! But I need to match my Xcase ? More info please ? Great build by the way !

Are you down in the Tetons? I’m guessing that was you rig coming out of Wilson today. Rig looks like it’s ready to take on the world!!! Wish I had my phone ready for a pic.

Hey, yes it was! Thanks for noticing.

Rushing to get to Colorado, but will reach out when it’s back in town.

Cheers!

Hey @RUSH55 !

Well......if you MUST know.........
"I must! I must!" -Black Bart, Blazing Saddles

Just tinkering and whittling the to-do list down.....

Completed:
Replace tailgate handle
Wire rear window override (in case switch dies)
Adapt the front seat frames to make them more "bucket-like"
Install solar panel on RTT
Wire solar panel with Anderson cables
Install inner fender edge protection so it doesn't slice my hand open while working in the area
Paint master cylinder with black POR-15 (the hood vents allowed water and followed by an impressive rust patina)
Install 1/8" HDPE protection on the front of the LRA 55 gal fuel cell (it presents a rather large target for wayward rocks)
Build rear cabinet to contain the drawer fridges
Install Dynamat Extreme throughout the front cabin

To be completed:
upholster door cards in cow hide and install
drill & tap window cranks (instead of retention clips)
wire window washer switch (switch by ToyotaMatt.....so more complicated than necessary)
Tune CB antenna (meter should read 1.5....it's at 18)
Fab & install inner mud flaps to keep grime off the starter and other engine parts
-Fab & install "limb riser" mounts for the bumper & RTT
-Fab a tab on the rear bumper to allow the swing arms to be locked
-Fab a bracket to mount 2 KC HiLite Cyclone lights as 3rd brake lights as well as a place for the rear view camera
The last 3 things are being completed by Apex Overland in Reidsville, NC.

On the drive back from Edisto Beach (where that photo was taken), the rig developed an unwanted vibration while under load. So......I need to figure that out as well.

Other than that.......just drinking beer, attending horsey stuff (this is Aiken, SC......a VERY horse-centric place) and wearing appropriate & festive shirts. ;-)

Thanks for asking. What's going on in AZ????

Got lucky and saw that pic you posted on IG. That beast is looking great!

Besides the usual, working on knocking out items on my list too. We’re going to have closely resembling rigs here at some point.
