i had a couple minor issues on initial start.

first off the scan tool wouldnt read. turns out the data pin in the DLC was in the wrong place. (my body harness was from a 97 4runner) no biggie just a repin.

the next was a loose high pressure fuel line. easy fix.

the last was a high idle issue. i kinda chased my tail for a few. i was suspecting the MAF maybe or the intake because the scan tool was showing a way lean condition. swapped the MAF and no change, s***.

well i got to thinking, when i did the motor job for that customer i ended up using the TB from the junkyard motor. (mine was oxidized and LOOKED s***ty) and the other was shiny and nice.

well turns out the TB i used had a sticking IAC (idle air control)
swapped to the one that came with the motor and good to go.

Dang man. You make what I've done on my truck look pathetic. Quit showing me up!

In all seriousness, nice work. Guess that's why they pay you the big bucks.

You really are a miracle worker! Sick job man!

well since its night i didnt get you any pics.

ty said no way he was givin me that camera :flipoff2:

anyway. it runs and drives.

i spent the weekend doing the seats, the body trimming (big thanks to my pal gabe) shock mounts and brake line captures.

just need to mod the tach and mount the ECM before i can button up the interior

drove to CP to get the daughter from the fair (gay i know) it did just fine, no check lamp, nothing fell off.

on a side note, if you hear of a craigslist murdering spree...it wasnt me :flipoff2:

my craigslist transmission doesnt seem to like to stay in third. all i can say is dude is lucky hes in creswell. i sent a nasty email though, it made me feel a bit better, or not.

on the plus side, the 3.4 has the power to make the 2-4 change even pushing the fo-d-dueces

Sucks about the tranny man!!! And nothin' gay about doing anything with your little girl. But AWESOME it did well on it's madden voyage, I can't believe how much you did in such a short time. Kick ASS!!

i meant the fair is gay. if i could just get my girl into wheelin. it wont be long i am sure. she already wants seat time. she just needs to get used to the off camber.

J thanks yep is an R-150 from behind a 3.0.
i would like to keep it about 100$
all your gears work RIGHT? RIGHT?

i need one that they all work in

Still can't believe how clean it came out, looks almost like it rolled out of the factory all pimped out!!

heres a few more pics.
working out the pass seat mount.
needs to move for access to rear seats with canopy installed.
we cannibalized a stock set for the sliders. welded the sliders to some angle.
the slides weld to the seat mount and the angle bolts to the seat.
i am going to build a quick release so the rear of the seat will pivot up out of the way later.

i moved the shoulder mount for the seatbolt. there is another boss already there.
all i did was make a 3/4" hole in the bezel.

if you didnt get to see the truck up close, its clean.
the visors are perfect with labels intact.

the factory rollbar cover.
