so i have been getting some of the detail stuff worked out.
working out the fuel and brake line route/re-route.
installed the clutch pedal set
got the engine harness installed and modified

basically pics are showing my mistake when drilling the clutch pedal mounts.
brain fade caused me to drill the holes to 9/16" instead of the 5/16" it called for.
first pic is showing the auto pedal bracket that i modified to use as a template
what i did was drill a couple holes with 3/4" holesaw, opened the center hole to 5/16" and then ground the plug to fit and welded it back in.

so here are some pics, no too much excitement though.

pics of the clutch and brake line mods
i also removed the LSPV and extra brakeline.
i modified the hard line from the clutch slave to the softline to try and tuck everything away from the header
i also rebent and rerouted the hi pressure fuel line, still need to get some more return line.

i have also been a victim of a bit of a radiator fiasco.
apparently you cannot but a real "bolt in" for this truck.
i already returned two brand new ones that hit the hood.

i tried to have the original repaired to my liking, to no avail.
here are pics
the first is the position of the OG toyota radiator, at least the one that came with this truck. i have to assume it was the one that came in it to begin with.

the second pic is of the aftermarket radiator, notice how much higher it is positioned.

third pic is resulting modifications because i am tired of this stupid problem.

made some more progress.

the fuel lines are done. after i broke the first one:eek: , i bought another front hi-pressure line and rebent to my liking. the return line simply needed a longer hose.

the upper plenum is on, the hood has nearly an inch of clearance.

made a new clutch slave hardline from a caliper hardline.

i was able to use the stock 3.0 throttle cable. the bracket may need a bit more massaging.

i also removed the LSPV. i need to make a capture for the hardline.
