Spring over, highsteer, put back together, new tranni transfer new engine in, custom tranni crossmember, body on, get it working, trubo/intercooler setup, 4" stanless custom snorkle, 4" exhaust 4" dump into 6" stacks hehe
then its fun time
I envy you guys who have the patience and know how to take on a project like this. Sure looks and sounds as though you have some work in font of you.
Great photos and good luck with the rebuild. Its sure going to be an awesome truck once complete.
Whats the biggest thrill?? building it?? or using it once you have built it?? Whats in line for it once complete.
Thanks dude,
Building it is hard work and unforgiving but a great experience. I wouldn't pass it up for the world.
When its done i can try it out and see what my hard work has achieved - that being the greatest part...
Once finished i will endeavor to license and roadworthy it after a while, if i cant it will be strictly off road and then... ill go much further with it.
hehe wankfactor +
at work we dyno big diesels and they work much better without any exhaust appx 10% more
now thats what i want... but i think exhaust going into the engine bay then to the eyes wont b too good, so 4"-7" it is![]()
a massive exhaust will increase the spool time (lag) on the turbo due to lack of backpressure.
Just something to keep in mind.
Looking good zolt.
But you might want to make bigger (longer) perches up top.
It helps keep axle wrap down. Maybe 10" or so
Cheers,
Nick
